Meera Raj

Personally, I’m a daughter, partner, sister, aunty, friend. Professionally, I’m a hotelier by trade, and have had extensive experience in people management to lead change and drive business.

My childhood was filled with fun, laughter, love, and different parenting. As a teenager, I went with the flow to study medicine before deciding that it was not for me, and subsequently finding my passion in hoteling, and later, people. As a young adult, I moved up the ranks in the Food and Beverage division within hotels across the region, and then to the helm as an award winning General Manager, before expanding my portfolio further to overseeing the hospitality business unit for a conglomerate.

Hospitality is a people business, and as we know, people are complex beings. Over the years, I have honed my communication and people skills. Coming from a mixed heritage, having worked in an international environment with people from across the globe, and being in an interracial relationship, I am particularly adept in navigating through the complexities of cross cultural relationships and circumstances.
