A hotelier by trade, I have a proven track record of the ability to manage complex stakeholders with a keen analytical mind for business. People are at the core of our business, and with this in mind, I am able to extend my skill set across different functions and drive performance, influencing buy-in and encouraging positive growth through collaboration.
As a Certified Professional Coach, I combine my technical know how and trade skills to partner with individuals, teams or organisations to work towards better culture, effective leadership, self awareness, and achieving goals.
Hospitality
Growing up as a young adult in the hotel business, and subsequently moving into hotel development, and running homegrown brands, including restructuring a hospitality business unit to challenge international companies, my technical know-how on running hotels runs deep. My stakeholder management skills have been widely recognised, and this allows me to move seamlessly between all levels of colleagues, operators, and owners.
Cross-Culture
Personally and professionally, I have always been surrounded by multiple cultures – I haven’t just experienced it, I live it everyday. I am therefore adept in handling different points of views and managing expectations of various stakeholders, by bridging cultural differences, and gaps. Whether it’s being the youngest, or the only female – skill knows no boundary.
Leadership
As an award winning General Manager in an international hotel chain, including stints in large, luxury flagship hotels, I know what it takes to drive results through people. I am an expert at building winning teams (this includes how to have difficult conversations to manage performance), improving productivity and efficiency through system simplification, and navigating change sustainably via deep rooted cultural shifts.
